Hello!

I am an artist and a visual storyteller, focusing mainly on children’s illustration. I draw digitally and using traditional media.

I live in a city with a dragon and drink tones of coffee. When I am not illustrating, you can find me connecting with nature outside of the city or reading in my favorite coffee shop.

There is no greater reward for me than to know that my drawings make people smile.

I love experimenting with art materials and topics, yet there are several themes that I always tend to get back to.

One of them is Nature. I was raised in a little Ukrainian town, spending my evenings, weekends and vacations in the woods, by the lake or in the countryside. Now I live in the second largest city of Poland and I keep surrounding myself with nature through illustrations.

The other theme is Magic. I am very interested in the folktales, Slavic mythology and magic realism. In my art projects I make reality meet the world of mystery.

Hence my characters explore the pathways of the wild jungle and magic forests on my behalf.

The two areas of my interest are:

– illustration (mainly digital). I work with clients and on my own projects. My illustrations fit well with publishing and products for kids. I also create illustrated stories of my own.

– painting. I use mainly oil or acrylic on canvas. As a painter my goal is to make each artwork  a window into the world of fantasy. Each painting is a teaser to the longer story, which an art lover would continue writing in  mind.
